Our primary muse around here is a lil' bison named Montoya. While Montana is Spanish for, "Mountains,"
Montoya is Basque for "Hills and Valleys,"
through which bison roam.
His modern, minimal shape helps us connect the modern desire for simplicity with the beautifully complex territory in which we live.
Join Joy at Omerta Arts with an in-depth Saturday workshop to learn how to manipulate soft slab work to create animal shapes (or other lovable characters) and return to pick up your project in two weeks time.
When: 2p-5p July 27th at Omertà Arts.
